Petr Hladik is an MSc graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Czech Agricultural University in Prague (1997). He received his PhD at the School of Rural Planning and Development of the University of Guelph (Canada) in 2005. His professional background and interests cover wide area of business aspects of information and communication technologies adoption, business management, business networking, and sustainable regional development.

Prior to joining the Technology Centre AS CR in Prague, Mr Hladik had worked as a document manager in the team of the Czech Chairmanship of EUREKA, which is a very successful pan-European initiative focused on the international cooperation in industrial research and innovation. He is a manager at the TC AS CR and is involved in several projects including preparing the "National Research Plan" and the "Healthy and Safe Food for the Future" program.
